Business Oregon is the trade name of the Oregon Business Development Department, focusing on the growth of the state.  It supports companies in Oregon, fosters startup entrepreneurs, attracts investment from companies outside the state, including foreign companies, eliminate supply chain gaps, and develop existing clusters.

In addition to traditional forestry and agricultural products, food processing industries, beer and wine productions, from attractive living environments, competitive business costs, abundant and highly productive labor force, geographical convenience and various incentives, world-famous apparel brands such as Nike and Columbia Sportswear are headquartered, and there is a high-tech cluster "Silicon Forest" centered on semiconductors such as Intel.

As of March 2022, from Japan more than 150 companies are operating in Oregon.
