Automotive Engineering Expo 2018

Name of Client: Embassy of Canada in Tokyo

Project Summary:

Arrangement of 3+ f2f meetings for 8 Canadian companies exhibiting at the Canada Pavilion in the Automotive Engineering Expo 2018 from May 23 to 25 for export promotion.

Activities:

- Identified more than 20 Japanese companies to target each for 8 mission member companies;

- Arranged 29 f2f meetings in total during the three days, more than 3 meetings each.


Sunderland City Council: Japan Roadshow - Investment Seminar

Name of Client: Sunderland City Council, UK

Project Summary: 

Holding the investment seminar: Sunderland UK - How collaboration in automotive and advanced manufacturing sector in the UK, particularly in the North East region, is driving co-creation and growth, for FDI promotion

Seven attended Japanese companies answered in the questionnaire that they have new or further investment plans for the UK in the near future.


Louisiana Economic Development: Japan Roadshow - Company Visits & Investment Seminar

Name of Client: Louisiana Economic Development (LED)

Dates: March 7 - 9, 2018

Project Summary:

Arranging f2f meetings through company visits and holding LED investment seminar: Louisiana Advantage focusing on oil & gas, and chemical sectors for FDI promotion

Activities:

- Arranged 6 f2f meetings including a press interview;

- Held the seminar below.

Eight Japanese companies were identified having a FDI manufacturing projects in the American South from the collected questionnaire.


Greater MSP: Japan Roadshow - Company Visits

Name of Client: Greater MSP (Minneapolis Saint Paul Regional Economic Development Partnership)

Project Summary:

Arrangement of f2f meetings through company visits in Japan for the Greater MSP from February 21 to 23, 2018 focused on healthcare/life science sectors including medical equipment for FDI promotion.

Activities:

- Identified 40 Japanese companies to target;

- Arranged f2f meetings for Greater MSP with 7 Japanese medical device and related companies during the 2.5 days.
