- 15 attended Japanese companies answered in the questionnaire that they are actively looking to set up operations in the North Africa.

Name of Client: Qatar Financial Center

Project Summary:

Holding and arranging an investment seminar: Expand Your Business to Qatar

 Date: November 30, 2016

 Venue: World Trade Center in Hamamatsucho, Tokyo

 Organizer: Qatar Financial Center

 Supporters: Embassy of the State of Qatar, JCCME, JETRO, JCC&I, SMBC and BTMU

 Target Number of Attendees: 80, Actual Number of Attendees: 96

- 22 attended Japanese companies answered “they have currently business dealings with Qatar” in the questionnaire.

- 16 companies answered “currently looking for a new facility in the Middle East.”

- 20 companies ticked a box of “planning to start investigating for investment in the Middle East hereafter”.


【Americas】

Name of Client: Ontario Ministry of International Trade, Canada

Project Summary:

Arrangements of 3+ b2b meetings for 9 Ontario companies exhibiting in the Canadian Pavilion at Automotive Engineering Expo 2017 from May 24 to 26, 2017.  The overall aim was to establish relationship with Japanese companies for export promotion.

Activities:

- Identified more than 20 Japanese companies to target each for 9 mission member companies;

- Arranged 34 f2f meetings for 9 mission member companies in total during the three days, more than 3 meetings each


【Europe】

Name of Client: School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, University of Newcastle, UK

Project Summary:

A Japan roadshow: arrangements of company visits in Japan from July 10 to 14, 2017 focused on meetings with R&D departments of automotive companies for promotion of R&D investment 

Activities:

- Identified 40 Japanese companies to target;

- Arranged a presentation session to engineers and scientists belonging to R&D department at 8 companies in Tokyo, Saitama, Kanagawa, Yamanashi and Aichi prefectures during the 5 working days.

Project Summary:

Holding a investment seminar: Sunderland, UK – Shaping the future of the global automotive sector 

 Date: May 23, 2017

A Japan roadshow: arrangements of company visits in Japan for FDI promotion focused on fintech in June, 2016

Activities:

- Identified 25 Japanese fintech-related companies to target;

- Arranged 9 f2f meetings including Fintech Association of Japan during three working days
