 - Creation of a target list;

 - Arranged 22 f2f meetings in total and the investment seminar.

 Target number of attendees: 80

Results:

- Actual number of attendees: 96

- 22 attended Japanese companies answered "they have currently business dealings with Qatar" in the questionnaire.

- 16 companies answered "currently looking for a new facility in the Middle East."

- 20 companies ticked a box of "planning to start investigating for investment in the Middle East hereafter".

Project Summary:

Arranging 'Invest in Sunderland' seminar welcoming Mr. Tony Raydon, Vice President, Purchasing, Nissan Motor Manufacturing UK at a main speaker at the British Embassy in Tokyo on April 20, 2016 and company visits

Results:

 - Arranged 9 meetings including a press interview;

 - Number of the participants in the seminar: 47 people from 36 companies.

- Of them, 6 companies having investment project are identified.
